Hi and welcome to my Baron Photo blog! I am so excited to share my photography with you and the experiences that I gather along the way. Here, I will have the chance to share some more photos from some photo shoots, the personal stories of the people I photographed, the behind-the-scenes scoop or sometimes just some thoughts on anything and everything that grabs my attention and may interest you. Baby Jacqueline
Photographing a 5-week old baby is no easy feat. Though when the baby in question is as adorable (as most babies usually are) as Jacqueline was on that fateful day, it is worth all the effort. It turns out she was attracted to dark objects, making my camera the place she wanted to look, making my job all the easier. Add in some loving parents, beautiful natural light and a few diaper changes and we had ourselves an eventful afternoon all in the name of Jacqueline’s first photo shoot!
Maternity
This was a maternity shoot (obvious, I know!) and was very special to me because not only are the parents-to-be, Johanna and Noah, clients, but they are also very close friends of mine. Johanna was about 8-months along when I photographed the couple at home, which I took the liberty of re-arranging and then putting back together over the course of the shoot! It became a family affair when their two dogs, Jackson and Ruby-Doo got in on the act. At one moment, I had a dog in each arm, kneeling on the floor, trying to shoot… it was definitely amusing to see!
Johanna and Noah wanted to involve their friends and family in helping them name their baby and being sports-minded people, they did what seemed like a natural thing to do: create a blog based on a playoff tree with baby names. People voted, argued, some abstained, others shook their heads and then voted… who could resist? With it only being a short while until the due date, we await the results of the voting and keep fingers crossed for a healthy, beautiful baby, named either… (Girl) Jacqueline, Ella, (Boy) Jamie or Ethan.
